Commodore 116, Evropa, 1984. Nejmenší člen řady 264 vznikl jako levnější alternativa k Commodore 16. Používá procesor MOS 7501 nebo pozdější 8501, 16 KB RAM a BASIC 3.5. Čip TED 8360 sdružuje grafiku, zvuk, časovače i část systémové logiky. Nabízí 40 × 25 znaků, grafiku až 320 × 200 a paletu 121 barev, ale proti C64 nemá hardwarové sprity. Zvuk má dva kanály a šum. Z 16 KB RAM zůstává BASICu 12 277 bajtů. Charakteristická nízká skříň používá gumovou klávesnici. Joystickové i kazetové konektory jsou řešeny mini-DIN zásuvkami odlišnými od C64, zatímco sériová IEC sběrnice zůstala zachována. Model se prodával hlavně v Evropě a výrazněji se prosadil až po zlevnění.

Commodore 116, Europe, 1984. The smallest member of the 264 family was designed as a lower cost alternative to the Commodore 16. It uses a MOS 7501 or later 8501 processor, 16 KB RAM and BASIC 3.5. The TED 8360 combines graphics, sound, timers and part of the system logic. It provides 40 × 25 text, graphics up to 320 × 200 and a 121 colour palette, but unlike the C64 it has no hardware sprites. Sound consists of two channels plus noise. BASIC starts with 12,277 bytes free. The compact low profile case uses a rubber keyboard. Joystick and cassette connections use mini-DIN sockets different from the C64, while the Commodore IEC serial bus is retained. The model was sold mainly in Europe and became more successful after price reductions.
