Datapoint 1560 Processor, USA, 1982. Profesionální mikropočítač byl oznámen v říjnu 1982 jako nejnovější člen řady Datapoint 1500 pro zpracování dat, textu, elektronickou poštu a komunikační aplikace. Používá Zilog Z80A, standardně 64 KB RAM s možností rozšíření na 128 KB a 12 KB ROM. Vestavěný 10palcový monochromatický CRT zobrazuje 80 × 24 znaků. Datapoint nabízel vlastní DOS.H i CP/M a programovací jazyky DATABUS, FORTRAN a BASICPLS. Přes diskový systém bylo možné připojit až čtyři moduly a kombinovat 1MB nebo 2MB disketové jednotky s pevnými disky 5 a 10 MB, celkově až kolem 40 MB. Přes RS-232C mohl 1560 obsluhovat další terminály. V režimu DATASHARE fungoval jako host pro čtyři pracovní stanice a od roku 1983 mohl být pod DOS.H zapojen také do sítě ARCNET.

Datapoint 1560 Processor, USA, 1982. This professional microcomputer was announced in October 1982 as the newest member of Datapoint's 1500 family for data processing, word processing, electronic mail and communications work. It uses a Zilog Z80A, normally with 64 KB RAM expandable to 128 KB and 12 KB ROM. The built in 10 inch monochrome CRT displays 80 × 24 characters. Datapoint offered both DOS.H and CP/M together with DATABUS, FORTRAN and BASICPLS. Up to four disk modules could be attached, combining 1 MB or 2 MB floppy units with 5 or 10 MB hard disks for totals of roughly 40 MB. RS-232C allowed additional terminals to be connected. In DATASHARE configuration the 1560 could host four workstations, and from 1983 DOS.H systems could also participate in ARCNET networks.
