Hitachi MB-6881 Basic Master Level 2 II, Japonsko, 1979. Vylepšený model byl uveden 10. prosince 1979. Používá Hitachi HD46800 kompatibilní s Motorolou 6800 na přibližně 750 kHz, 16 KB RAM a 16 KB ROM s monitorem a Level 2 BASICem. Paměť lze pomocí připravených pozic na desce rozšířit až na 32 KB. Level 2 BASIC podporuje plovoucí desetinnou čárku, trigonometrické funkce, řetězce a pohodlnější editaci, což je proti původnímu Basic Masteru zásadní posun. Obraz zůstává monochromatický 32 × 24 znaků a skutečný bitmapový grafický režim chybí. Programy se ukládají na audiokazetu přibližně rychlostí 300 baudů, k dispozici byla také rychlejší firemní periferní úložiště. Zaváděcí cena byla 148 000 jenů.
