Hitachi MB-H3, Japonsko, 1985. První MSX2 počítač značky Hitachi byl veřejnosti představen na Japan Electronics Show 1985. Používá Sharp LH0080A kompatibilní se Z80A na 3,58 MHz, 64 KB RAM a 64 KB video RAM. Obrazový systém tvoří Yamaha V9938, ale kvůli pouze 64 KB VRAM nejsou standardně dostupné režimy SCREEN 7 a SCREEN 8. Zvuk zajišťuje PSG YM2149 integrovaný v MSX Engine Yamaha S3527. Nejvýraznější zvláštností je odnímatelný dotykový tablet se stylusem, pro který má vestavěný firmware kreslicí a tabletové nástroje, hodiny a kalkulačku. Počítač má dva cartridge sloty, RGB i kompozitní obraz, kazetové rozhraní, Centronics a dva ovladačové porty. Zaváděcí cena byla 99 800 jenů.

Hitachi MB-H3, Japan, 1985. Hitachi's first MSX2 computer was first shown publicly at the 1985 Japan Electronics Show. It uses a Sharp LH0080A compatible with the Z80A at 3.58 MHz, 64 KB RAM and 64 KB video RAM. Video is handled by the Yamaha V9938, but with only 64 KB VRAM the standard machine cannot use SCREEN 7 or SCREEN 8. Sound is provided by the YM2149 PSG integrated in the Yamaha S3527 MSX Engine. Its most distinctive feature is a detachable touch tablet with stylus, supported by built in drawing and tablet software together with clock and calculator utilities. The machine has two cartridge slots, RGB and composite video, cassette interface, Centronics and two controller ports. The launch price was ¥99,800.
