Sharp MZ-80A (Panda GmbH), Japonsko/Německo, 1982. Tento kus vychází z MZ-80A se Z80 na 2 MHz, 48 KB RAM, 4 KB monitorové ROM, 2 KB znakové ROM, 9″ zeleným CRT a kazetovou mechanikou 1200 bit/s. Německá Panda GmbH z něj vytvořila terminál Panda P1 pro pořizování textu a fotosazbu. Původní klávesnici nahradila 81klávesová sestava podobná klaviaturám Linotype a vlastní programovatelný generátor znaků umožnil přizpůsobit výstup navazujícímu fotosázecímu systému. Základní elektronika Sharp zůstala zachována. Upravený systém se hlásil jako PANDA-TERMINAL.

Sharp MZ-80A (Panda GmbH), Japan/Germany, 1982. This machine is based on the MZ-80A with a 2 MHz Z80, 48 KB RAM, 4 KB monitor ROM, 2 KB character ROM, a 9 inch green CRT and 1200 bit/s cassette drive. Germany’s Panda GmbH converted it into the Panda P1 text entry and phototypesetting terminal. The original keyboard was replaced by an 81-key layout resembling Linotype keyboards, while a programmable character generator adapted the output to the connected typesetting system. The underlying Sharp electronics remained largely intact.
