Sinclair QL, Anglie, 1984. Pracovně zaměřený počítač používá Motorolu 68008 na 7,5 MHz, 128 KB RAM a 48 KB ROM s operačním systémem QDOS a SuperBASICem. Dvě vestavěné jednotky Microdrive používají nekonečné páskové smyčky s kapacitou kolem 100 KB na cartridge, nejde tedy o běžné audiokazety. Grafika nabízí 512 × 256 ve čtyřech nebo 256 × 256 v osmi barvách. Pomocný Intel 8049 obsluhuje klávesnici a další periferie. Součástí dodávky byl kancelářský balík Psion Quill, Abacus, Archive a Easel.

Sinclair QL, England, 1984. This work oriented computer uses a 7.5 MHz Motorola 68008, 128 KB RAM and 48 KB ROM containing QDOS and SuperBASIC. Two built in Microdrives use endless loop tape cartridges storing about 100 KB each, so they are not ordinary audio cassettes. Graphics provide 512 × 256 in four colours or 256 × 256 in eight. An Intel 8049 auxiliary controller handles the keyboard and peripheral tasks. The bundled Psion software suite includes Quill, Abacus, Archive and Easel for word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics.
