Schneider CPC 464 × Amstrad CPC 464, Západní Německo/Anglie, 1984. Oba počítače jsou elektronicky prakticky shodné a používají Z80A, 64 KB RAM, Locomotive BASIC a vestavěný kazetový magnetofon. Schneider je německá distribuční varianta s vlastním logem, střídměji zbarvenými funkčními klávesami a kovovým stíněním základní desky kvůli místním předpisům o rušení. Rozložení kláves zůstalo britské a software je stejný. Rozdíly se tedy týkají hlavně značení, vzhledu a elektromagnetického stínění, nikoli počítačové platformy.

Schneider CPC 464 × Amstrad CPC 464, West Germany/England, 1984. The two machines are electronically almost identical, using a Z80A, 64 KB RAM, Locomotive BASIC and a built in cassette recorder. Schneider’s German distribution version has different branding, more subdued colours on the function keys and metal shielding around the mainboard to meet local interference regulations. The keyboard layout remains British and the software is the same. Their differences therefore concern branding, appearance and electromagnetic shielding rather than the computing platform.
