Both systems use the same Videopac/Odyssey² hardware with an Intel 8048 processor, Intel 8245 video and sound chip, cartridges and two digital joysticks. Their defining feature is the built in monochrome monitor, although games can be shown in colour on an external television. The Schneider 7200 is a licensed G7200 variant and differs mainly in branding and its blue case rather than game compatibility or core electronics. Both also retain the same keyboard layout and front panel controls.
