Sharp MZ-1200 × MZ-80A Panda Terminal, Japonsko/Západní Německo, 1982. Oba stroje vycházejí z rané rodiny MZ s procesorem Z80 kolem 2 MHz a koncepcí Clean Computer bez BASICu trvale uloženého v systémové ROM. MZ-1200 je univerzální japonský model s vestavěným CRT a kazetovou mechanikou. Panda GmbH naproti tomu přestavěla MZ-80A na specializovaný terminál P1 pro pořizování textu a fotosazbu, doplnila 81klávesovou klávesnici a programovatelný generátor znaků. Společný technický základ tak v jednom případě slouží jako osobní počítač a ve druhém jako profesionální výrobní terminál.

Sharp MZ-1200 × MZ-80A Panda Terminal, Japan/West Germany, 1982. Both systems derive from Sharp's early MZ family with a Z80 at about 2 MHz and the Clean Computer concept, without BASIC permanently stored in system ROM. The MZ-1200 is a general Japanese model with built in CRT and cassette drive. Panda GmbH instead converted the MZ-80A into the specialised P1 text entry and phototypesetting terminal, adding an 81-key keyboard and programmable character generator. The same basic architecture therefore serves as a personal computer in one case and a professional production terminal in the other.
