Tandy RadioShack TRS-80 Model I Level I, USA, 1977. Nejlevnější původní konfigurace používá Zilog Z80 na 1,78 MHz, 4 KB RAM a 4KB Level I BASIC v ROM. Monochromatická obrazovka zobrazuje 64 × 16 nebo 32 × 16 znaků a semigrafiku 128 × 48. Kazetové rozhraní Level I pracuje rychlostí 250 baudů. Paměť v základní jednotce lze zvětšit na 16 KB a Expansion Interface umožňuje celkem až 48 KB, disketové mechaniky, tiskárnu a volitelné RS-232. Původní startovací sestava se prodávala včetně 12″ monitoru, magnetofonu a výukového manuálu.

Tandy RadioShack TRS-80 Model I Level I, USA, 1977. The lowest priced original configuration uses a Zilog Z80 at 1.78 MHz, 4 KB RAM and 4 KB Level I BASIC in ROM. Its monochrome display provides 64 × 16 or 32 × 16 text and 128 × 48 semigraphics. Level I cassette transfer runs at 250 baud. RAM in the base unit can be expanded to 16 KB, while the Expansion Interface raises the system total to 48 KB and adds floppy, printer and optional RS-232 support. The original starter package included a 12 inch monitor, cassette recorder and tutorial manual.
