Mladší LCD-386 používá procesor 80386DX a představuje výrazně výkonnější 32bitovou platformu.
English / Anglicky:
Vobis Highscreen LCD-286 + LCD-386, Germany/Taiwan, 1988/1991. These two portable PCs show the rapid transition from the 80286 to the 80386 generation. The LCD-286 is an almost ten kilogram lunchbox computer with a detachable keyboard, built in LCD and standard ISA PC cards, with its hard disk and floppy drive mounted in side bays. The later LCD-386 uses an 80386DX processor and represents a much more capable 32 bit platform. Both still belong to the heavy mains powered portable class rather than the lightweight notebook format that became common later.
